Box 1298
Glenwood Springs, CO 81601
RE: Coal Basin Mines, File No. C -81 -017, Evidence of Property Insurance
Dear Ms. Delaney:
On February 24, 1992, the Division received an "Evidence of Property
Insurance" document as required by Rule 2.03.9. The rule also requires that
a rider be attached requiring the insurer to notify the Division in the case
of termination, failure to renew, or if substantial changes are made to the
policy.
The rider was attached under the cancellation heading, however, the language
stating, "but failure to mail such notice shall impose no obligation or
liability of any kind upon the company, its agents or representatives ", is
inappropriate and should be stricken from the document. A copy of this
document, with the inappropriate language highlighted, has been enclosed for
your convenience. Please resubmit this document with said language deleted.
If you have any questions, please call me.
Sincerely,
Anthony J.
