NOAA/NWS observation station "Redstone 4 W" (which stands
for "Redstone 4 miles West" ) is situate next to
Mid-Continent's District Office in Coal Basin (4 miles
West of Redstone) and approximately one-quarter of a mile
Northeast of Outfall No. 016. The weather
observations at Redstone 4 W are taken by Mid-Continent
employees and reported to NOAA/NWS for incorporation into
its reports.
