Route #1 , 3542 Front Street Palisade, CO 81526 _ Re: Mid-Continent Resources Show Cause Hearing, File No. C-81-017 Dear Mr, Mechau: We have received your March 27, 1991 fax transmittal requesting that the Crystal Valley Environmental Protection Association (CVEPA) be allowed to participate in the Mid-Continent Show Cause Hearing. The hearing was convened at the March 28, 1991 meeting of the Mined Land Reclamation Board (the Board) and has been continued to the April 24-25, 1991 Board meeting. At the March meeting, Board member Luke Danielson was appointed pre-hearing conference officer, and the pre-hearing conference was tentatively scheduled for April 22, 1991 . Mr. Danielson will establish parties to the hearing and set out the issues and procedures for the hearing at the pre-hearing conference. When the date, time and location of the pre-hearing conference has been finalized, you will be notified. Attendance at the pre-hearing conference is mandatory, if you wish to request party status. We request that any information which you feel should be considered by the Board be submitted to us by April 15 , 1991 , so that Mr. Danielson will be able to familiarize himself with your concerns prior to the pre-hearing conference.
