PREHEARING ORDER

IN THE MATTER OF MID-CONTINENT RESOURCES, INC. :
ORDER TO SHOW CAUSE WHY PERMIT
SHOULD NOT BE SUSPENDED OR REVOKED
-----------------------------------------------------------------
The following order is hereby proposed to the Mined Land
Reclamation Board ( "Board" ) by the prehearing conference officer
to govern the hearing in this matter. This order, as may be
amended by the Board, shall be effective upon approval by the
Board:
PARTIES
1 . The following have been admitted as parties to the
hearing:
a. The Mined Land Reclamation Division ( "Division" ) ;
b. Mid-Continent Resources, Inc. ( "Mid-Continent" ) ;
c. The Crystal Valley Environmental Protection Associ-
ation ( "CVEPA" ) , through its representative Mr . Michael Mechau;
and
d. The Garfield Citizen' s Alliance ( "GCA" ) .
WITNESSES AND EXHIBITS
2 . By May 9, 1991, each party shall ensure that each other
party is in receipt of the following:
a. A list of witnesses that may be called at the hear-
ing together with a brief description of the expected testimony,
together with a resume or curriculum vitae of each expert
witness; and
b. A copy of all exhibits that may be introduced as
evidence at the hearing. If any exhibit cannot reasonably be
