The portals on the extreme left (adjacent to small <br /> metal building) , and extreme right (just behind white vehicle) were the <br /> ventilation fan entries. All but the entry on the extreme right are located <br /> on C-09005. All the entries had been sealed with solid concrete block walls. <br /> Hydraulic excavator in foreground has been equipped with hydraulic shears and <br /> is in the process of cutting up steel frame structure. The cut up pieces will <br /> later be baled and hauled to a steel recycler. Final reclamation of the No. 4 <br /> Mine bench will include backfill against the lower portion of the highwall <br /> which will completely cover the portal culverts. <br />
