Box 158 <br /> Carbondale, CO 81623 <br /> Dear Doug: <br /> Following our discussion on revegetation of <br /> disturbed areas in Coal Basin, I have prepared the following <br /> plan that would be the basis for revegetation costs for any <br /> jobs I might be contracted to accomplish for Mid-Continent. <br /> Site Preparation. It is my understanding that the <br /> surface areas requiring revegetation would be backfilled and <br /> graded according to your approved plan with the State and <br /> Federal agencies, and that the available topsoil would be <br /> re-distributed on the disturbed areas . The only site <br /> preparation work I would be required to accomplish would be <br /> some scarifing of hard packed areas (estimated to be not <br /> more than 40 acres, or about 15% of the total of 283 acres <br /> of disturbed area} . <br /> Planting Techniques. Seed mixtures of the types and <br /> amounts specified for the 8 ,000 ' and 10,0001 elevations in <br /> your permit application will be broadcast by hand except for <br />
