THE SOURCE TO WHICH THIS PERMIT APPLIES IS DESCRIBED AND LOCATED AS
FOLLOWS:
Limestone Plant (Anhydrite) located at 1070 100 Road, Carbondale,
Garfield County, Colorado.
THE SPECIFIC EQUIPMENT OR ACTIVITY SUBJECT TO THIS PERMIT INCLUDES THE
FOLLOWING:
A limestone storage silo with a crusher, screen , and pugmill enclosed
underneath. A cement storage silo and truck loadout.
THIS PERMIT IS GRANTED SUBJECT TO ALL RULES AND REGULATIONS OF THE
COLORADO AIR QUALITY CONTROL COMMISSION AND THE COLORADO AIR QUALITY
CONTROL ACT C.R.S. 1973 (25-7-101 et seq.), TO THOSE GENERAL TERMS AND
CONDITIONS SET FORTH ON THE REVERSE SIDE OF THIS DOCUMENT AND THE
FOLLOWING SPECIFIC TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
1. All process equipment shall be totally enclosed during operation. No
ventilation of process area is allowed without a revision to this permit.
2. Cement storage silo shall be equiped with a fabric filter vent control .
3. Truck loadout shall be designed so material is not exposed to the
atmosphere, i .e. , totally enclosed.
4. Particulate emissions shall not exceed 0.1 lb/hr or 0.03 tons/yr. This
emission is based upon the information (work schedule, production , etc. )
supplied by the applicant and the Air Pollution Control Division's
fugitive dust emission factors valid as of September 30, 1982.
5. Opacity of emissions from any source shall not exceed 20%.
