Mr. Fuller - 2 - May 30, 1991
As we discussed, there have been occasional samples which showed a relative
increase in settleable solids. It would appear that these are isolated
incidents related to underground pump changes. We do not see a developing
trend of renewed environmental degradation at the site.
Please refer to our letter of March 29, 1991 which contains comments from the
Division of Wil dl ife and the Heal th Department in regard to water qual ity
concerns. Also please see water sample results forwarded to you and other
Coal Basin Group members on April 24, 1991 .
Please feel free to contact Dan Mathews or me if you have further questions.
Sincerely,
tev en G. Renner
Coal Program Supervisor
SGR/lac
Enclosure(s )
CC: Jim Stevens
Dan Mathews
5966F
