This report covers <br /> calendar year 2003. The annual report form is attached to the narrative that follows. <br /> The Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board forfeited the reclamation bond of the former operator of this <br /> site in 1992. Therefore,the Division of Minerals and Geology(Division)is performing reclamation of the <br /> Coal Basin Mine as required by the Colorado Surface Coal Mining Reclamation Act. <br /> In order to facilitate the completion of reclamation at the site,the Division obtained the subject permit. <br /> Reclamation construction was accomplished in conformance with the stormwater permit requirements. <br /> The Division of Minerals and Geology will likely apply for permit termination during 2004. <br /> Please contact me at the phone number or address below if you have questions or comments. <br /> Sincerely, <br /> Steven G.
