It was accessed by existing, albeit
infrequently used 4WD roads up in the Spud Patch area. Vegetation in the drill area is naturally very
sparse. Only three of the five proposed holes were drilled. Overall, reclamation looked very good.
Description
Hole A — Grass and reclamation vegetation looks good and matches the surrounding areas nicely.
Hole D - The Vegetation is somewhat sparse at the drill site, however it is also fairly sparse in surrounding
areas, so the drill hole is hard to pick out, if you don't know where to look.
Hole E — The drill site looks good. Good vegetation and good backscattered vegetation.
Holes B and C were not drilled.
The amount of outstanding bond liabity from the limited vegetation at drill site D is likely less than the cost
to government of continued inspection of the site — not counting wear and tear to roads and vehicles from
accessing it. I recommend closing out this notice and releasing the bond.
I ECEIIVE
SEP 0 62012
DURANGO FIELD OFFICE
DIVISION OF RECLAMATION,
MINING AND SAFETY
Action Items
Recommend bon release to DRMS
1 of 7
)(4,14,
James Blair
Geologist
Tres Rios Field Office
t;
