September 11, 2012 C- 1984 - 065 /Coal Ridge No. 1 Mine ZTT <br />The single sediment pond remains stable. Embankments were well vegetated and stable with no signs of slumping <br />or erosion. Maintenance on the pond embankment at the Culvert C5 outlet remains stable. The emergency spillway <br />was clear of all debris and the pond was dry at the time of the inspection. <br />All approved ditches inspected were stable and clear of all debris. <br />GENERAL MINE PLAN COMPLANCE: <br />It appears weed spraying has occurred between the July inspection and the inspection conducted on September 11, <br />2012 and has been successful. Knapweed clusters noted in previous inspections appear to be dying. <br />ROADS — Rule 4.03 <br />Construction 4.03.1(3)/4.03.2(3) <br />Drainage 4.03.1(4)/4.03.2(4) <br />Surfacing and Maintenance4.03.1(5) and (6)/4.03.2(5) and (6) <br />Reclamation 4.03.1(7)/4.03.2(7): <br />The haul road remains stable. No signs of fugitive dust were observed. <br />SIGNS AND MARKERS — Rule 4.02: <br />Disturbed boundary markers were clearly visible and delineated the disturbed areas. <br />Topsoil markers were observed on both Topsoil pile 42 and 43. <br />Mine identification sign was located at the entrance of the mine along the Haul Road and County Road 335.
