<br />CAM MINING LLC, P.O. Box 98,
<br />Loma, CO 81524, has submitted a
<br />complete application for a technical
<br />revision to the Division of Reclama
<br />tion, Mining and Safety for Its Mu•
<br />nger Canyon Mine and Loma Loadout,
<br />Mining and Reclamation Permit No.
<br />C-1981-020. The proposed revision
<br />changes the reclamation plan for
<br />some culverts Installed under the Mu
<br />nger Canyon Mae access road. The
<br />original reclarsatlon plan required that
<br />dry fords be established whore two
<br />major and one minor channel crosses
<br />the lower portion of the mine road.
<br />The major channels are Munger
<br />Creek near the topsoil stockpile and
<br />the channel draining the major can
<br />yon south of the road near the re
<br />claimed waste rock disposal area.
<br />The minor channel Is near the topsoil
<br />stockpile. This technical revision will
<br />allow the large culverts to remain In
<br />place.
<br />The Munger Canyon Mine is located
<br />approximately 18 miles north of Loma,
<br />CO along State Highway 199. East
<br />Salt Creek is located on western por
<br />tion of the permit boundary. Most of
<br />the surface of the permit area is
<br />owned by the United States. The
<br />permit area is encompassed within
<br />portions of Sections 27, 28 and 29 of
<br />Township 7 South, Range 102 West,
<br />6th P.M. and Sections 2, 3 and 4 of
<br />Township 8 South, Range 102 West,
<br />6th P.M. A portion of the permit area
<br />in section 29 is owned by 411 Enter
<br />prises.
<br />The Loma Loadout is approximately
<br />one -half mile east of Loma, Colorado.
<br />The surface of the permit area is
<br />owned by the Union Pacific Railroad.
<br />The permit area is encompassed
<br />within portions of the SW /4SW/4 of
<br />Section 34 Township 2 North, Range
<br />3 West, Ute Meridian and Portions of
<br />the NE /4NW /4 of Section 3 Township
<br />1 North, Range 3 West, Ute Meridian.
<br />The mine site sections are contained
<br />within the U.S. Geological Survey 74
<br />minute Howard Canyon and Garvey
<br />Canyon Quadrangle maps. The
<br />Loadout sectlons.are.contained within
<br />the U.S. Geological Survey 7.5 minute
<br />Mack Quadrangle Map.

<br />cation Is available for public Inspec
<br />tion at the Mesa County Clerk and
<br />Recorder's office, 200 S Spruce St.,
<br />Grand Junction, CO. A copy of.the
<br />approved permit application docu
<br />ment, as well as the technical revl
