August 29, 2012 C- 1996 -083 /13owie No. 2 Mine MPB <br />PROCESSING WASTE /COAL MINE WASTE PILES — Rule 4.10 and 4.11 <br />Drainage Control; Surface Stabilization, Placement: <br />Gob Pile No's 1, 2, and 4 were viewed and found to be generally in good condition. Some work was underway at <br />the upper end of Gob Pile No. 1. It appeared that some refuse material was being reworked and compacted. There <br />was no ponding of water observed at any of the piles and drainage ditches were maintained and functional. <br />ROADS — Rule 4.03 <br />Construction 4.03.1(3)/4.03.2(3) <br />Drainage 4.03.1(4)/4.03.2(4) <br />Surfacing and Maintenance4.03.1(5) and (6)/4.03.2(5) and (6) <br />Reclamation 4.03.1(7)/4.03.2(7): <br />The paved haul road was in good condition. The haul road leading to the coal waste pile area was also in good <br />condition. Road ditches along both road locations appeared to be well maintained with adequate capacity.
