POND 012 SLIDE REMEDIATION <br />New Channel YPM -6 -3 <br />Approved: Appendix 13 -12.3, Post Mining Channels SEDCAD4 Results, Channel <br />YPM -6 -3 design requires: <br />- 3 foot channel bottom width <br />- 9 inch riprap <br />- 1 foot of depth (water plus freeboard) <br />Proposed: <br />- 10 to 25 foot channel bottom width <br />- filled with 12 inch minus riprap (— 7 feet deep with perforated PVC along <br />bottom of Channel) <br />- currently approved channel configuration to be constructed on top of gravel <br />layer <br />• Trenchs <br />Proposed: <br />North Trench <br />- 15 foot trench bottom width <br />- 4" to 3/8" gravel at +5 foot depth <br />- perforated PVC placed along bottom of trench <br />- excavated to below source of water <br />• Slide Scarp Cut Slope <br />Proposed: <br />- Slope — 0.5 to 1.5H: IV or greater (final configuration will be in competent <br />material) <br />- Height — variable <br />• Excavated Material <br />- Material will be hauled uphill to the east and spread to achieve PMT and final <br />drainage configuration <br />Topsoil <br />- Topsoil will be picked up from existing Stockpile L and placed on reconfigured <br />disturbed area. <br />- No topsoil will be replaced on the "steep cut slope" in competent material. Red <br />rock material will be spread on the lower portion of the cut slope to reduce <br />erosion and to enhance revegetation by providing microsites for plants. <br />- The approved Upland and Concentrated Shrub mixes will be used to seed the <br />area of red rock. <br />• Pond 012 Capacity <br />- Pond will be cleaned to meet minimum sediment and water storage requirements <br />following slide area reconstruction <br />AM -39 08112 <br />
