Box 670 <br />Hayden, CO 81639 <br />Re: Seneca II -W Mine (Permit No. C- 1982 -057) <br />Minor Revision No. 71 (MR- 71) <br />Rock Mulch Application in Pond 016 Slide Area <br />Dear Mr. Karo: <br />We have received your minor revision application to revise your permit to conduct coal mining <br />in Colorado. Our initial review indicates that all preliminary items required by the Colorado <br />Surface Coal Mining Reclamation Act, Section 34 -33 -101 et seq., C.R.S., have been submitted. <br />Thus, your application has been considered complete for the purposes of filing as of September <br />5, 2012. All review and comment periods as provided in the Act and the Regulations initiate <br />from this date of filing. The Division has reviewed your application and found it to be adequate <br />in terms of meeting the requirements of the Act and Regulations. <br />Enclosed you will find the Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety's Decision Form for the <br />revision. <br />Documentation must be submitted to the Division demonstrating that a copy of the approved <br />revision application was sent to the Office of Surface Mining and the Bureau of Land <br />Management. The material should be sent within 15 days of final approval. <br />Please refer to the Performance Bond heading on the enclosed decision form. If the amount of <br />Bond Held equals or exceeds the Revised Liability, you need not submit additional bond. <br />However, if the Revised Liability exceeds the Bond Held, please submit additional bond or rider <br />to your existing bond that equals or exceeds the Revised Liability.
