All ponds were holding a small amount of water and appeared stable in the photographs. <br />OTHER (SPECIFY): <br />This was an aerial inspection flown by Harry Ranney of the Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety <br />(Division). Oblique aerial photographs were taken on August 22, 2012 and reviewed in the office by Jason <br />Musick of the Division on August 29, 2012. The site was dry and the weather was clear at the time of the <br />inspection. <br />PROCESSING WASTE /COAL MINE WASTE PILES — Rule 4.10 and 4.11 Drainage Control; Surface <br />Stabilization, Placement: <br />The Refuse Disposal Area Expansion was observed in the photographs. This area was stable with refuse <br />stockpiled near the toe of the pile and towards the middle of the pile. The RDA was graded with no evidence of <br />instability in the photographs. Both the toe and the head of the underdrain were observed in the photographs. It <br />appears that the first lift of the RDA Expansion has been completed. This will be confirmed through on the <br />ground inspections of the site. No problems were noted and the pile appeared stable. <br />RECLAMATION SUCCESS - Rule 4.15, Rule 3: <br />The reclamation at the Fish Creek Tipple Area was observed in the photographs. This area was stable with no <br />evidence of instability or erosion in the aerial photographs. From the Aerial photos the reclamation appeared very <br />well done with regard to grading and drainage control.
