entire fill surface at least 4 times (method compaction technique was applicable).
Removal of previously placed overburden fill was performed to allow for the Mill platform /Phase IV
geomembrane tie -in. This was performed using CAT 40 -ton articulating haul trucks loaded by a
John Deere 850 excavator.
C) Slope Contouring
Slope contouring was performed using a John Deere 850 excavator and various CAT dozers.
Material generated during slope contouring was placed as overburden fill at the top of the slope.
D) Soil Liner Fill (SLF)
Processing of Soil Liner Fill material continued at the East Cresson Clay Processing area. A CAT
D -8 dozer, a Hitachi 200 excavator, and a CAT 980 front -end loader were used to process the
material. The processed material was hauled from the East Cresson Clay Processing area to a
temporary stockpile designated by CC &V.
SLF from the Squaw (Dump 4) Clay stockpile was hauled to a stockpile location designated by
CC &V. This was performed using CAT 40 -ton articulating haul trucks loaded by a CAT 988 front -
end loader.
