Approximately thirty -two cubic yards
of approved concrete from Transit Mix was placed in the previously approved plug, shaped in the
shaft. The concrete placement was observed by an AMEC field representative.
Remediation of Underground Working #4052 was performed excavating the crown pillar from the
working. A portion of the crown pillar was removed during the excavation. The remaining crown
pillar will be drilled and collapsed by blasting.
Underground Working #4056 was inspected by an AMEC field representative after cut was
performed in the area and it was found to be completely removed.
