ameO
B) Drilling
Grouting of missed (non -void) confirmatory drill holes was performed at Underground Working
#4000. A grout pump and laborers were used to place bentonite grout into the "miss" drill holes.
Confirmatory drilling was performed at Underground Working #4001. A drill pattern was set out by
an AMEC field representative. Five holes were drilled encountering no voids. An approximate total
of 250 lineal feet was drilled. As -built survey of the drill holes was performed by Ames. Drilling
activities will be temporarily paused due to drilling priorities.
Confirmatory drilling was performed at Underground Working #4006. A drill pattern was set out by
an AMEC field representative. Forty holes were drilled encountering sixteen voids. An
approximate total of 2,000 lineal feet was drilled. As -built survey of the drill holes was performed
by Ames.
Grouting of missed (non -void) confirmatory drill holes was performed at Underground Working
#4006. The previously logged location was staked by the
Ames surveyor. Excavation of the area was performed and it was found to be a shallow surface
working. The native material below the surface depression was found to be consistent and no
signs of a significant working were found. Backfilling of the working will be performed at a later
date. The area was bermed off for safety.
Underground Working #4016 was investigated using a CAT 330 excavator and observation was
performed by an AMEC field representative. A stope /adit was found and the excavator was used
to clean out the working. The working is no clean and now other workings were encountered
during the investigation. The working will be backfilled as structural fill placement progresses in
the area.
Underground Working #4017 was investigated using a Hitachi 350 excavator and observation
was performed by an AMEC field representative.
