(formerly Carma), St. Vrain Lakes <br />File No. M- 1982 -015, Technical Revision No. 5 Adequacy Review <br />Dear Mr. Tafoya, <br />The Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety (Division) has reviewed the content of the <br />Brookfield Residential Properties, Inc. technical revision (TR -05) submittal for the St. Vrain Lakes <br />project, File No. M- 1982 -015 and submits the following comments. The Division is required to <br />make an approval or denial decision no later than September 9, 2012 therefore; a response to the <br />following adequacy review concerns should be submitted to the Division as soon as possible. <br />1. Rule 6.2.1(2) requires maps be signed by a registered land surveyor, professional engineer, or <br />other qualified person. The maps submitted to the Division were not signed. Please resubmit <br />signed copies of the maps. <br />Please be advised the St. Vrain Lakes technical revision may be deemed inadequate, and the <br />revision may be denied on September 9, 2012, unless the above mentioned adequacy review item <br />is addressed to the satisfaction of the Division. If more time is needed to complete the reply, the <br />Division can grant an extension to the decision date. This will be done upon receipt of a written <br />waiver of the Applicant's right to a decision by September 9, 2012 and request for additional time. <br />This must be received no later than the deadline date. <br />If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call me at 303 - 866 -3567 Ext. 8124. <br />Peter S.
