PART VI - GROUND WATER WELL LEVELS :
See Figures at end of Table Section .
MILL TAILINGS POND 4 :
Figure 2 - map showing location of Monitoring Wells and
hydrologic cross sections .
Figure 2-A - hydrologic cross section shows little change
from 1988 potentiometric surface on the [west end of the
embankment.
Figure 2-B - hydrologic cross section shows the
potentiometric surface in the center of the embankment as
having dropped from last year .
Both sections show embankment as well drained , with water
levels at least 15 ' below the surface.
ENGINEERING OFFICE MONITORING WELLS (EOMW1 AND 2) :
Figure 3 - Hydrograph shows fluctuation in water levels in
wells corresponding to stream stage as would be expected for
these wells less than 100 ' from riverbank in alluvium. High
flow of Anima, ineasured in end of April 1989 is reflected in
higher water levels in wells .
TAILINGS POND 3 WELLS (`I'P304 AND 07 ) :
Figure 4 - Hydrograph of these wells shows some change in
the water level of TP304 on the East end of the dam.
Relatively higher grater level was measured in fall. 1988;
level dropped in spring of 1989 . These levels are
30-40 feet below embankment surface, indicating a
well-drained structure.
PART VI I - 6JATER MONITORING SCH1 DULr 1.989 :
water :monitoring schedule for 1989 will be the same as that for
1988 , as listed in Part I of this Section . Additionally, A`I'S-1 ,
ATS-2 , SCTP3-1 , and SCTP3-2 will be resampled in June 1989 , as
discussed above.
- 10 -
