Introduction <br />Support Facilities <br />Section 2.05.3(3) <br />Mine Facilities <br />This section contains a description of the proposed structures to be used in connection with or to <br />facilitate the surface coal mining and reclamation activities at the New Horizon North (NHN) <br />Mine area described in Section 2.05.3, Operation Plan: Permit Area. <br />Buildings. Proposed buildings include a 60'x90' steel building structure to be used as a shop, a <br />24'x70' mobile building to be used as the mine office, a 20'x40' mobile building to be used as a <br />bath house, a 14'x40' mobile building to be used as a foreman's office, a 24'x70' steel building <br />for use as a warehouse and hose room, three 8'x20' steel cargo containers to be used for <br />warehousing and parts storage, and a fuel and lube oil storage and pump facility consisting of <br />storage vessels contained inside a lined earthen berm that will contain the volume from the <br />largest vessel plus the 10yr -24hr rainfall event. all located at the NHN Mine facilities area. Map <br />2.05.3(3) -1 Facilities Map shows the locations of the buildings. <br />Details of sizes and types of construction for all buildings are shown in Table 2.05.3(3) -1. <br />Waste Water. Sewage from the proposed buildings will be disposed of through proposed septic <br />sewage disposal system. Waste water from the equipment wash will be re- circulated and reused; <br />however, if there is any excess waste water, it will be run through a sediment trap and an oil <br />water separator and discharged to Pond NHN -001 via a natural drainage and the NHN -001 East <br />Ditch. <br />Section 2.05.3(3) Page 1 November 2011 <br />
