Current slopes are in the
range of 1 :1 to 2 : 1 .
Pond surface will be graded at approximately a one percent
slope toward the hillside.
Stabilization of the side-slopes and top is accomplished by
erection of four-foot snowfences perpendicular to prevailing
winds and application of a non-toxic cementing agent to bind
loose tailings material.
Revegatation is accomplished by a process of spreading peat
in hand dug furrows on 12" centers, fertilization, seeding,
maintenance and establishment of secondary plant
communities .
- No definite schedule for reclamation.
