Legal Description
New Horizon North Mine Permit Boundary
The lands within the proposed permit area are owned by Garvey & Co LLC, Thomas M and Peggy Jo
Meehan, George E.L. Glasier and Western Fuels- Colorado, LLC.
The mining area will be situated west of 2650 Rd, east of 2600 Rd, north of AA Rd and south of Z Rd.
The permit area contains tracts of land located in Section 25 and Section 36, Township 47 North, Range
16 West of the New Mexico Principal Meridian, Montrose County, Colorado being more particularly
described as follows:
The West 1/2 of Section 25, T. 47 N. R. 16 W. of the New Mexico Principal Meridian, containing 317.23
acres more or less, together with a tract of land 50 feet in width, 25 feet on each side of the following
described centerline:
Beginning at a point on the southerly boundary of said Section 25 from which the South % Corner of said
Section 25 lies South 87 °30'29" East 523.20 feet; thence the following courses:
