June 2012 Discharge Monitoring Report (CO- 0027154)
Dear Mr. Watterson:
The Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining, and Safety (CDRMS) has reviewed and found the
above referenced reports to be in compliance with Rule 4.05.13(2). The Second Quarter Discharge
Monitoring Reports for the above referenced CDPS Permits were received by the Division on O1 August
2012; the reports cover the time period from 01 April 2012 through 30 June 2012 and Ol June 2012
through 30 June 2012 (CO- 0027154).
Permit CO- 0027154 — During the month of May 2012 only Outfalls 003A (Pond B) and 006A (Pond E)
flowed. No exceedances were noted.
No outfalls discharged during the months of April and June of the quarter.
Permit CO- 0036684 — Outfall OOlA/OO1W/1\40N1 (Site 62) discharged during the second quarter, with
no exceedances noted. WET tests were collected for Site 62. The tests indicated that the effluent was
not acutely toxic.
Permit CO- 0042161 — Outfall 002A (sites 300E and 300I) discharged during the quarter. Outfall
00 1A/00 IW/M0N1 (site 115) did not discharge during the quarter.
One exceedance of was noted in April. 300E exceeded the 30 -day average for TSS (92mg/L v the limit
of 75mg/L). The TSS dropped to 14 mg/L in May with no flow in June.
Permit COG - 850051 — Outfall 001 /OOW (6MN Pond) did not discharge during the second quarter 2012.
Permit COG - 850054 — 0utfall 001A (18LT Pond) did not discharge during the second quarter 2012.
