On October 8, 1987, the Water Quality Control Division ( "the
Division") and Sunnyside Gold Corporation ("Sunnyside" ) entered into
an Agreement and Stipulated Order ("ASO" ) , a copy of which is
attached hereto as Exhibit 1.
The Division and Sunnyside hereby agree to amend paragraph 9.
of the ASO to read as follows:
AGREEMENT AND STIPULATED ORDER
9. Sunnyside agrees to meet the following interim limits for
final discharge from the American Tunnel (permit CO-0027529) through
October 30, 1988:

Total suspended solids
( "TSS" ) , in mg/l 75 NA
Total zinc, mg/l 9.4 12.4
