Pubic Notice - Newspaper Advertisement <br />CAM - Colorado, LLC, 743 Horizon Court, Suite 201, Grand Junction, CO 81506, has submitted a <br />complete application for a technical revision to the Division of Reclamation, Mining and <br />Safety for its Fruita Loadout, mining permit No. C- 2011 -088. The proposed revision will <br />temporarily suspend the water monitoring requirement at the loadout and update the <br />address of the applicant. Water monitoring will be reinitiated as soon as a decision is made <br />to construct the loadout. <br />The spur track and loadout are located south of State Highway 6 & 50, north of Interstate 70 <br />and west of the old Fruita Refinery. The City of Fruita lies approximately 3.0 miles east of the <br />proposed spur track and loadout. Reed Wash runs through the central portion of the proposed <br />permit boundary. Loma Drain runs through the western edge of the permit boundary. The <br />proposed mine permit area is located on the U.S. Geological Survey 7.5 minute Mack <br />Quadrangle map within the following sections. <br />Township 1 North, Range 3 West, Ute P.M. <br />Section 2: <br />Section 3: <br />Section 10: <br />Section 11: <br />Portions of the SW /4, W /2SW /4SE /4 <br />Portions of the SE/4 <br />Portions of the N /2NE /4 <br />Portions of the N /2NW /4, N /2NE /4, SE /4NE/4 <br />Containing 215.6 acres more or less <br />The proposed Fruita Loadout permit boundary contains 215.6 acres of land that is all located on <br />private surface. CAM - Colorado, LLC owns 208.3 acres, the Union Pacific Railroad owns 5.3 <br />acres and Fruita Development LLC owns 2.0 acres. The minerals within the proposed permit <br />area are owned by the respective private surface owners. <br />A copy of the technical revision application is available for public inspection at the Mesa County <br />Clerk and Recorder's office, 200 S Spruce St., Grand Junction, CO. A copy of the approved <br />permit application document, as well as the technical revision application, are available at the <br />Denver and Grand Junction offices of the Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety [Room <br />215, 1313 Sherman St., Denver, CO 80203, (303) 866 -3567; and 101 South 3 Suite 301, <br />Grand Junction, CO 81501, (970) 243 -1571. Written comments regarding this application may <br />be submitted to and additional information may be obtained from the Denver office of the <br />Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety. Phone inquiries should be directed to the Grand <br />Junction office. Written comments must be received by the Division of Reclamation, Mining and <br />Safety within 10 days after the date of this publication in order to be considered. <br />
