4th Quarter/December Monthly Report <br /> Page 3 <br /> ♦ Tailings Pond No. 4 surface Drainage Modification <br /> Sunnyside is the owner of the land area where the proposed <br /> lined ditch will be constructed. The ditch outlet is <br /> planned to drain under Colo. Hwy 110 which requires a CDOT <br /> utility permit. Sunnyside's utility permit for placement <br /> of the drainage outlet culvert has expired requiring <br /> renewal through reapplication. With this exception. <br /> Sunnyside has legal right-of-entry to implement the work <br /> plan for this project. <br /> The project area is within Sunnyside' s MLR permit (M-77- <br /> 378) area and Stormwater Permit Certification (COR-040054) <br /> area. Approval to implement the work plan has been <br /> received through Technical Revision submittal (MLR permit) <br /> and Certification Modification (Stormwater Permit) <br /> approvals. <br /> There was no activity on this project for December or the <br /> 4th quarter. <br /> ♦ Tailings Pond No. 4 Upland Groundwater Diversion <br /> Sunnyside owns or controls the land area required for <br /> implementation of this project and has legal right-of- <br /> entry. <br /> The project area is within Sunnyside's MLR permit <br /> (M-77-378) area and Stormwater Permit Certification (COR- <br /> 040054) area. Approval to implement the work plan has been <br /> received through Technical Revision submittal (MLR permit) <br /> and Certification Modification (Stormwater Permit) <br /> approvals. <br /> There was no activity on this project for December or the <br /> 4 th quarter. <br /> Cement Creek Diversion and Water Treatment <br /> Cement Creek diversion and water treatment was active <br /> continuously throughout December and the 4th quarter. The <br /> flow of Cement Creek in throughout the 4th quarter was <br /> below the treatment system's capacity and the entire flow <br /> was diverted for treatment. The flow diverted and treated <br /> in December ranged from 347 G.P.M. to 479 G.P.M. and ranged <br /> from 347 G.P.M. to 708 G.P.M. for the 4th quarter. <br />
