Peabody Sage Creek <br />Mining, LLC proposes to reduce the sagebrush refer- <br />ence area that has historically been utilized to dem- <br />onstrate revegetation success associated with bond <br />release applications from approximately 8 acres to <br />approximately 4 acres. <br />The Peabody Sage Creek Mine is aran Underground <br />coal mine located in Routt County, approximately 9 <br />miles SE of Hayden. Coal interest is Federal, state <br />and private, and the surface affected is Federal, state <br />and private land. The permit area encompasses ap- <br />proximately 10,164.00 acres. <br />This proposed decision is based on a finding that the <br />proposed operation will comply with all requirements <br />of the Colorado Surface Coal Mining Reclamation <br />Act, Section 34 33 101, at seq., C.R.S., and the regu- <br />lations promulgated thereunder. <br />Copies of the proposed decision, including stipula- <br />tUors, are on file for public inspection at the Colorado <br />Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety, Room <br />215, Centennial Budding, 1313 Sherman Street, Den- <br />ver, Colorado 80203. Persons with an interest that <br />may be adversely affected by the proposed decision <br />may request a formal hearing before the Mined Land <br />Reclamation Board on the proposed decision.
