<br />Peabody Sage Creek Mining, LLC, 36633 Routt
<br />County Road 27, PO Box 250, Hayden, CO 81639,
<br />has filed with the Colorado Division of Reclamation,
<br />Mining, and Safety, an application for Technical Revi-
<br />sion (No. 5) to the Sage Creek Mine, Permit
<br />C -W -087 This technical revision revises the config-
<br />uration of the sagebrush reference area
<br />The mine permit area, encompassing approximately
<br />10,164 acres, is located approximately nine miles
<br />south of the Town of Hayden, Colorado, off Routt
<br />County Road 27. The general legal description for
<br />lands affected by the Mine Permit Appication Pack-
<br />age (PAP) are located in Township 5 North, Flange 87
<br />West, all or portions of Sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 8, 9, 10,
<br />11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 21, and 22; and Township 6
<br />North, Range 87 West, all or portions of Sections 27,
<br />28, 29, 32, 33, 34, 35, and 36.
<br />The permit term is for five (5) years. Affects com-
<br />prise only a small porton of the entire permit area
<br />Surface and coal ownership within the proposed per-
<br />mit area include Sage Creek Holdings, LLC; the State
<br />of Colorado, and the U S. Department of Interior
<br />(Bureau of Land Management). The ownership, pre-
<br />cise location, and boundaries of lands within the per-
<br />mit area are identified in Section 2.03, and on Map
<br />2.03 -M1, of the PAP, and are included in this public
<br />notice by reference.
<br />Copes of the PAP, including the referenced Techni-
<br />cal Revision application, are available for inspection
<br />at the mine office and the office of the Colorado Divi-
<br />sion of Reclamation, Mining, and Safety. A copy of
<br />the Technical Revision application is also available
<br />for public inspection at the Hayden Public Library,
<br />225 E. Jefferson Ave. Hayden, CO81639.
<br />Written comments or objections to the Technical Re-
<br />vision application should be submitted to the State of
<br />Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining, and
<br />Safety, 1313 Sherman Street, Room 215, Denver,
<br />Colorado 802 03 -22 73 within ten days of the last
<br />date of publication of this notice.
