Compliance With Mine Plan N - Support Facilities Not On-site <br /> R - Other NA - Special Categories Of Mining <br /> R -Processing Waste N -Topsoil <br /> COMMENTS <br /> INTRODUCTION: <br /> This was a partial inspection of the Munger Canyon Mine conducted by Mike Boulay of the DRMS Grand <br /> Junction Field Office on July 31,2012. I was not accompanied by an operator representative during the <br /> inspection. Weather conditions were warm,clear and dry. Ground conditions were dry. The majority of the mine <br /> site is reclaimed and there was no activity at the site. <br /> HYDROLOGIC BALANCE -Rule 4.05 <br /> Drainage Control 4.05.1,4.05.2,4.05.3; Siltation Structures 4.05.5,4.05.6; Discharge Structures 4.05.7, <br /> 4.05.10; Diversions 4.05.4;Effluent Limits 4.05.2; Ground Water Monitoring 4.05.13; Surface Water Monitoring <br /> 4.05.13; Drainage —Acid and Toxic Materials 4.05.8;Impoundments 4.05.6,4.05.9; Stream Buffer Zones 4.05.18: <br /> As seen in Photograph No. I East Salt Creek is completely dry. Munger Creek was also dry. The waste disposal <br /> area sediment pond was dry and stable. <br /> PROCESSING WASTE/COAL MINE WASTE PILES—Rule 4.10 and 4.11 <br /> Drainage Control; Surface Stabilization; Placement <br /> The waste disposal site (including the waste disposal cell and adjacent cover and topsoil stockpiles) appear stable. <br /> The waste disposal site is shown in Photograph No. 2. Grasses are beginning to turn brown at the waste disposal <br /> site and throughout much of the mine site. There is fairly good shrub establishment atop the waste disposal site. <br /> The waste disposal sign/marker has fallen over and is laying at the site.
