6.3.9 Exhibit I <br />Soils Information <br />Soil series within the proposed permit boundary include Colby, Wiley and Harvey <br />series. The following soil series descriptions were obtained from the National Soil <br />Conservation Service website. <br />Colby soil series consists of very deep, well drained and somewhat <br />excessively drained, moderately permeable soils formed in calcareous loess <br />commonly referred to as Colby silt loam. Depth to water table is more than <br />80 inches. <br />Wiley soil series consists of very deep, well drained, moderately slowly <br />permeable soils formed in thick, calcareous loess commonly referred to Wiley <br />silt loam. Depth to water table is more than 80 inches. <br />Harvey soil series consists of very deep, well drained, moderately permeable <br />soils that formed in alluvium and windblown sediments derived dominantly <br />from sandstone, shale and limestone commonly referred to as Harvey loam. <br />Clay is prevalent below the first seven inches of ground surface. Depth to <br />water table is more than 80 inches. <br />9 <br />
