The weather was cloudy and warm. The ground was dry. <br />The fence near the gate at the loadout is still open where a two -track trail leads to the property to the north. <br />HYDROLOGIC BALANCE - Rule 4.05: <br />The pipes for the north culvert at the mine site were clear. The pipes for the south culvert were functional <br />although the smaller pipe is clogged at the downstream end. <br />The Best Management Practices for sediment control (silt fence and straw booms) from the reclaimed pond area <br />are functional. <br />GENERAL MINE PLAN COMPLANCE: <br />The site was found to be in general compliance with the permit. <br />RECLAMATION SUCCESS - Rule 4.15, Rule 3: <br />The two unreleased parcels at the mine site had no erosion or other apparent problems. <br />To reclaim the pond at the loadout, a portion of the reclamation was disturbed for vehicle access. This area and <br />the reclaimed pond area itself are showing significant growth of grasses and other vegetation.
