Final Inspection 2 November 11 , 1997 <br /> Longfellow Koehler MRP DMG Permit No. M-77-378 <br /> Consent Decree <br /> Significant materials had been removed from the low pH sediment pond, located between <br /> the Longfellow and Koehler sites. Operator indicated that approximately 4,000 cy of <br /> sediment had been removed from the sediment pond, neutralized with high pH material, <br /> and relocated to Mayflower Pond #4. <br /> Overburden borrow area was located at base of near vertical natural cliff. Overburden <br /> consisted of native soils and rock, accumulated at cliff base. <br /> Backfilling, grading, and material relocations appeared to have been completed in <br /> accordance with conditions of the Consent Decree and in accordance with the Colorado <br /> Mined Land Reclamation Act and the Hard Rock/Metal Mining Rules and Regulations of <br /> the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board. <br /> (end of report) <br /> cc: Allen Sorenson, DMG <br /> Sarah Johnson, CDPHE WQCD <br />
