July 9, 2012 C-1980-005/Seneca II Mine JDM <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />SIIPM-8 REPAIR <br /> <br />OTHER (SPECIFY): <br />This was a complete coal inspection of the Seneca II mine conducted by Jason Musick of CDRMS. Jay James and <br />Jen Hunt of Peabody Energy accompanied the inspection. The mine site was dry during the inspection. No <br />mining or reclamation activities were being conducted during the inspection. The repair work on the SIIPM-8 <br />drainage and the V-ditches has been completed. <br /> <br />ROADS Rule 4.03 Construction 4.03.1(3)/4.03.2(3) Drainage 4.03.1(4)/4.03.2(4) Surfacing and <br />Maintenance4.03.1(5) and (6)/4.03.2(5) and (6) Reclamation 4.03.1(7)/4.03.2(7): <br />Road C, the South Road and South Road B were dry and stable with no problems noted at the time of the <br />inspection. <br /> <br />RECLAMATION SUCCESS - Rule 4.15, Rule 3: <br />The entire mine site has achieved Phase II bond release, with the exception of the areas identified in SL-5. This <br />Phase II bond release application is currently under review by the Division.
