The PTUTIE reveals other unique conditions or characteristics, which, in the opinion of the permit issuing authDrity, <br />justify the incorporation of unanticipated special conditions in the permit. <br />B. MONITORING REQUIREMENTS <br />1. Frequency and Sample Type <br />In order to obtain an indication of the probable compliance or noncompliance with the effluent limitations specified in Part <br />I.A.1, the permittee shall monitor all effluent parameters at the following frequencies. Such monitoring will begin <br />immediately and last for the life of the permit unlessotherwise noted. The results of such monitoring shall be reported on the <br />Discharge Monitoring Report form (See Part I.E.) <br />See Part I.C. for Definitions. <br />a. Oil and Grease Monitoring <br />For every outfall with oil and grease monitoring, in the event an oil sheen or floating oil is observed, a grab sample shall <br />be collected, analyzed, and reported on the appropriate DMR. In addition, corrective action shall be taken immediately <br />to mitigate the discharge of oil and grease. A description of the corrective action taken should be included with the <br />DMR. <br />
