MONITORING REQUIREMENTS 1. Frequency and Sample Type In order to obtain an indication of the probable compliance or noncompliance with the effluent limitations specified in Part I.A.1, the permittee shall monitor all effluent parameters at the following frequencies. Such monitoring will begin immediately and last for the life of the permit unlessotherwise noted. The results of such monitoring shall be reported on the Discharge Monitoring Report form (See Part I.E.) See Part I.C. for Definitions. a. Oil and Grease Monitoring For every outfall with oil and grease monitoring, in the event an oil sheen or floating oil is observed, a grab sample shall be collected, analyzed, and reported on the appropriate DMR. In addition, corrective action shall be taken immediately to mitigate the discharge of oil and grease. A description of the corrective action taken should be included with the DMR.
