6 (FORM 2 - Public filing) <br />8. Describe the estimated topsoil depth and how topsoil will be salvaged, stockpiled and redistributed for the re- establishment of <br />vegetation. Specify approximate topsoil redistribution depth: <br />Undisturbed topsoil varies from zero to 6 inches in depth. Abundant topsoil is stockpiled <br />and available near the 5th level portal and proposed work area. Suitable topsoil may be imported to the site if needed. <br />9. Describe how drill holes will be plugged (refer to Rule 5.4 of the Rules for required abandonment procedures): <br />Drill holes will be plugged with rock fragments mixed with cement to a depth of at least 4 <br />feet. A location monument will be erected next to each plugged hole. Inspections will be <br />made to assure full compliance with applicaDle reclamation rules and regulations. <br />10. Describe how portals, adits, shafts, ponds, excavations, or other disturbances will be reclaimed (refer to Rule 3 and Rule 5 for <br />specific reclamation performance standards). You may wish to contact the Division for closure specifications. <br />The adit will be closed with a locked door secured to a masonry or reinforced concrete <br />bulkhead. Ventilation and drainage, if any, will be maintained according to direction from <br />DRMS and other agencies. These bonds will <br />be determined by the DRMS and Mined Land Reclamation Division. <br />11. Describe how roads will be reclaimed or returned to their pre - prospecting (or better) condition: <br />erosion - caused ruts will be filled in and compacted. <br />
