<br />Loma, CO 81524, has filed with
<br />the Division of Reclamation, Min
<br />ing and Safety a complete ap
<br />plication for the renewal of a
<br />valid existing permit to conduct
<br />mining in Colorado for its Mu
<br />nger Canyon Mine and Loma
<br />Loadout, Mining and Reciama
<br />Non Permit No. C -1981 -020. The
<br />Munger Canyon Mine is located
<br />approximately 18 miles north of
<br />Loma, CO along State Highway
<br />139. East Salt Creek is located
<br />on western portion of the permit
<br />boundary. Most of the surface of
<br />the permit area is owned by the
<br />united States. The permit area is
<br />encompassed within portions of
<br />Sections 27,28 and 29 of Town
<br />ship 7 South, Range 102 West,
<br />6th P.M. A portion of the permit
<br />area in section 29 is owned by
<br />#11 Enterprises. The Loma
<br />Loadout is approximately
<br />one -half mile east of Loma,
<br />Colorado. The surface of the
<br />permit area is owned by the
<br />Union Pacific Railroad. The
<br />permit area is encompassed
<br />within portions of the SW /4SW /4
<br />of Section 34 Township 2 North,
<br />Range 3 West, Ute Meridian and
<br />Portions of the NE /4NW /4 of
<br />Section 3 Township 1 North,
<br />Range 3 West, Ute Meridian.
<br />The mine site sections are con
<br />tamed within the U.S. Geologl
<br />cal Survey 7.5 minute Howard
<br />Canyon and Garvey Canyon
<br />Quadrangle maps. The loadout
<br />sections are contained within the
<br />U.S. Geological Survey 7.5
<br />minute Mack Quadrangle Map. A
<br />copy of the renewal application
<br />is available for public inspection
<br />at the Mesa County Clerk and
<br />Recorder's office, 200 S. Spruce
<br />Street, Grand Junction, CO

<br />uninterruptedly published therein, during a period of at least
<br />fifty-two consecutive weeks next prior to the first publication
<br />of the annexed notice; that said newspaper is a newspaper within the
<br />meaning of the act of the general Assembly of the State of Colorado,
<br />entitled "An Act to regulate the printing of legal notices and
