8. State Oversight and Obligations. The Division will at any time have the right <br /> to inspect any Work required of SGC under this Consent Decree and, upon request by SGC, <br /> the Division will request that DMG inspect any of the mitigation projects to determine whether <br /> the reclamation Work has been completed in accordance with the Reclamation Standards of <br /> DMG and the Work Plans. <br /> a. Within thirty days of receipt by the Division of certification by SGC that <br /> it has completed a mitigation project or projects, the Division will request that the Work be <br /> inspected. Within thirty days after the Work has been inspected and a report provided to the <br /> Division, the Division will in writing either confirm that SGC has completed that mitigation <br /> project or projects according to the approved Work Plans and the Reclamation Standards of the <br /> Division of Minerals and Geology or provide to SGC a written statement of the reasons why <br /> the Division believes that SGC has not done so. If the Division requests that DMG perform <br /> the inspections and DMG declines to do so, the Division will perform the inspections. <br /> b. Within sixty days of a request by SGC, the Division will complete a <br /> Permit Termination Assessment pursuant to Section VIII of this Consent Decree. <br /> C. Within sixty days after a Division determination of a Successful Permit <br /> Termination Assessment pursuant to paragraph 14, the Division will, in accordance with then- <br /> existing procedures, commence termination of CDPS Permits No. CO-0027529 and CO- <br /> 0036056 and any obligations of SGC thereunder and will complete termination in a reasonable <br /> time as permitted by its procedures. If not already accomplished, the Division will terminate <br /> M911-/.2a"6 12 <br />
