13. Access Road Reclamation
The existing access road will be altered during the reclamation of the shop and office areas. An
access road will remain after reclamation to facilitate site access for monitoring. The Atlas waste
pile access road will remain as well.
19. Mine Water Discharge
The mine water discharge at Revenue will be in a pipe throughout the mine life. Once mining is
complete, and the regrading of the operations area in the center of the permit is complete, a ditch
will be installed to carry the mine water from the portal to the permanent pond that will remain after
reclamation. This ditch will run along the slope of the regarded area and discharge in the east end of
the permanent pond. The layout of this ditch can be seen on Map F -1 -1 and the design of the ditch
can be seen below in Figure E -1. The design details are in Appendix 6.
1
2
Triangular Channel
Equal Side Slopes
Channel Lining: Excavated, No Vegetation
L-
0.30ft. Diversion structures uphill of
the disturbed areas will be left in place permanently to reduce any erosion on the topsoiled areas.
Collection ditches installed during mining will be reclaimed once vegetation has established on the
areas of the Revenue that have been topsoiled and seeded. The sediment ponds will remain in place
until the collection ditches are reclaimed.
21. Weed Control
Appropriate measures will be employed to minimize the occurrence and spread of noxious weed
species. The Weed Control Plan for the site will include:
Revenue Mine August 2012 E -
