Final report will <br /> be written after completion of activities and will include cubic yards moved, as well as amount of <br /> alkaline material used. . <br /> Budget <br /> SGC will fund this program unless other property owners choose to commit funding to this <br /> project. <br /> Remedial Goals and Objectives <br /> Cleanup of historic tailings and removal from contact with rainwater and snowmelt in order <br /> to reduce the potential impact to the Animas River from heavy metals. <br /> Contingency Plans <br /> Sediment traps will be created as needed below the project to prevent tailings from being <br /> washed into the Animas River. The traps will be cleaned and removed when no longer necessary for <br /> project. <br /> _Legal Right to Enter and Conduct Activities <br /> Besides SGC,there are two other owners who will be contacted for permission to enter and <br /> conduct activities on their property. SGC will contact property owners after substantial agreement <br /> on remedial projects is reached. No work will commence until property owners' permission is <br /> obtained.
