Exhibit 11
Bear Spring Water Ditch
Bypass Treatment Pond
Flow Direct to River
Notes for Calculations:
1. The spring has an insignificant flow ( <10 gpm) with regard to ditch sizing.
2. The upland drainage area has heavy Oak brush cover with little or no run -off.
See page 11 -1 .
3. A curve number of 87 was used for the ditch drainage area.
4. The ditch has a 1.1 acre drainage area.
5. The following SEDCAD calculations show the spring water ditch will see a peak
flow of 1.03 cfs and will need to be a 0.82 foot deep V -ditch to handle the flow.
6. The spring water ditch will be constructed 1.5 feet deep with 1.5H:1.OV side
slopes.
7. A drainage area sensitivity analyses was performed on the ditch. The drainage
area was increased to 10 acres and the 1.5 foot deep V -ditch could still handle
the run -off.
The calculations and inform
04/30/12 were prepared b
presented is true and corIA
a
Jam
Registered FNi
State of Co
ENGINEER'S CERTIFICATION
wesq4ted on pages 11 -16 through 11 -21 with a date of
AWN month of April 2012, and the information
bLa' drP & knowledge and belief.
. _ tom.
9230 _ a
Date
Page 11 -15 New 04 -30 -12
