• 2.05.6(6)
The currently approved mine plan (Map 9A 12- 13 -94) provides for
mining in Section 16, 17 and 20. Panels 19 -23 are located in
Section 20. Panels 24 -30 are located in Section 17 and the SW /4 of
Section 16. Panels 31 -38 are located in NW /4 of Section 16. As
indicated above, the subsidence control plan for these panels is to
restrict mining to areas where the anticipated extent of subsidence
is well away from any of the structures or renewable resource lands
presented on Table 15.
In order to confirm that the subsidence control plan is effective,
the Operator will perform a visual inspection of the area that
could be effected by subsidence in June of each year. The
inspections will occur prior to retreat mining and will continue
for two years after retreat mining has occurred. These visual
inspections will be applicable to Panels 19 -23, 24 -30 and 31 -38.
The purpose of the visual inspections is to determine if subsidence
has caused material damage or has reduced the value or reasonably
foreseeable use of the surface lands. If any such damage is noted
then the provisions of Rule 4.20.3(2) shall apply.
The Operator will also perform limited subsidence monument
monitoring over these panels. Refer to Exhibit 22 for details of
• the subsidence monitoring program.
•
rn -022 2.05 -63e New 07 -19 -95
