Pineda <br />Director <br />The Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety is proposing to approve the release of <br />coal exploration bond submitted by New Elk Coal Company, LLC for Notice of Intent No. X -2010- <br />232-00. The bond was submitted to cover reclamation costs of exploration drill holes in Las <br />Animas County. An inspection showed that all disturbance associated with the exploration project <br />has been adequately reclaimed. <br />The legal description for the project is as follows: Township 33 South, Range 67 West, Sections 5, <br />6, 7, 9 and 18; Township 33 South, Range 68 West, Section 12 <br />Any person with an interest which may be adversely affected by this proposed decision may submit <br />written comments to the Division at the address below within 30 days of publication of this <br />proposed decision in the The Chronicle - News. <br />If you have any questions, please feel free to call. <br />Sincerely, <br />Kent A.
