June 6,2012 C-1982-057/Seneca II-W Mine SB1 <br /> The majority of the reclaimed area is sage grassland that provides browse for both domestic and wildlife species. <br /> Big sage is a component of seed mix 1. Photo 4 shows a representative reclaimed area with a diversity of species. <br /> The large grass species,Russian wildrye provides excellent cover and browse for wildlife. One Columbian <br /> sharptail grouse lek has been re-established at the Seneca IIW mine site. This grouse is a species of concern for <br /> the Colorado Division of Parks and Wildlife. <br /> Photo 5 shows one of the permanent stock ponds at the Seneca IIW mine site.
