PUBLIC NOTICE
<br />The Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety is proposing to approve the release or
<br />partial release of coal exploration bonds for Notices of Intent to explore issued to Peabody Coal
<br />Company. These bonds were submitted to cover reclamation costs of exploration drill holes in
<br />Routt County and Moffat County. An inspection showed that all disturbances associated with the
<br />projects have been successfully reclaimed in accordance with the approved plans.

<br />Any person with an interest which may be adversely affected by these proposed decisions may
<br />submit written comments, or a written request for an adjudicatory hearing before the Colorado
<br />Mined Land Reclamation Board, to the Division at 1313 Sherman Street, Room 215, Denver,
<br />Colorado 80203. Such comments should be submitted within 30 days of the second publication of
<br />this notice.
