NOTES AND COMMENTS ATTACHED TO 2012 ANNUAL REPORT FOR HAY CAMP PIT
(COMBINED) M- 1990 -025
1. Although there has been no substantial change in affected lands since the 2011
annual report, a report map is submitted that shows both current affected,
reclaimed, released, etc. lands as of 31 May 2012, and also shows potential
permit amendment changes being considered for 2012, pending County review.
2. We do intend to submit an application for a permit amendment in the next
month or two, which may include changes in affected lands and the permit
boundary. This will be discussed before actual submittal; please consider this
report to be our notice of intent.
3. No formal request was made for reclamation release of land in 2011; we are
planning to submit a separate request for reclamation release of the lands as
indicated, in 2012. This is dependent on County review and weather conditions.
Extremely dry conditions in the late Winter and Spring of 2012 have had
detrimental effects on vegetation in the area.
4. In the 2011 -12 permit year, Montezuma County Road Department extracted and
shipped approximately 250,000 tons of material; McStone Aggregates extracted
and shipped approximately 60,000 tons of material.
5. Weed control, fire protection, storm water, and other plans have been updated
as of May 2012, and will be submitted as needed with the permit amendment
application.
Digitally signed by Nathan A Barton
Nathan A Barton DN. cn= Nathan A Barton, o= WASTELINE, INC„
ou =CE, PE, DEE, email= Wasteline6 @aol.com, c =US
Date: 2012.06.22 08:49:30 -06'00'
