Box 1298, Glenwood Springs, <br /> CO 81602 <br /> DATE: July 1, 1996 <br /> PERMIT AND SAMPLE INFORMATION <br /> NPDES #: CO-0000396 <br /> Type of Sample: Influent and Effluent Grab <br /> Dilution Water: Laboratory Water <br /> Date of Samples: - June 17 and 24, 1996 <br /> Date of Tests: - June 18 and 25, 1996 <br /> TEST ORGANISMS AND PROCEDURE <br /> Organism: Ceriodaphnia dubia Age: <24hrs <br /> Procedure: Single species acute bioassays as specified <br /> by the Water Quality Control Division of the Colorado <br /> Department of Health, 1993. <br /> RESULTS <br /> Effluent samples collected on June 17 and influent <br /> samples collected on June 17 and June 24 from the Rock <br /> Tunnel Ponds showed acute toxicity to C. dubia. Effluent <br /> collected on June 24 showed no acute toxicity to C. dubia <br /> survival. <br /> DISCUSSION <br /> The Influent samples from both dates sampled, showed <br /> acute toxicity to C. dubia.
