The principal criticism of the <br /> report is that conclusions are made without sufficient data. For example, the habitats of the various <br /> sample sites on a stream may be different, and therefore may normally support different <br /> macroinvertebrate populations. <br /> I would say that the data collected are only a start in obtaining baseline information for the area, and few <br /> conclusions should be made at this point until more in known about the habitats being sampled and other <br /> physical and chemical components that could affect biota.
