AMENDMENT TO MORTGAGE DEED <br /> TO SECURE RECLAMATION BOND <br /> Permit No . 77-419 <br /> THIS INDENTURE made this 3rd day of August, 1982 <br /> between MID-CONTINENT RESOURCES , INC . , Box 158 , Carbondale, <br /> Colorado 81623 , of the County of Garfield and State of <br /> Colorado of the first part and MINED LAND RECLAMATION BOARD, <br /> Department of Natural Resources , State of Colorado, 723 <br /> Centennial Building, 1313 Sherman Street, Denver , Colorado <br /> 80203 of the second part, <br /> W I T N E S S E T H : <br /> WHEREAS , first party has entered and filed with <br /> second party a certain Reclamation Bond in the sum of SEVEN <br /> HUNDRED SIXTY-FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS , which was thereafter <br /> increased to EIGHT HUNDRED THIRTY-ONE THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED <br /> DOLLARS , and by Second Amendment of this date is increased <br /> to ONE MILLION 14INE HUNDRLD SEVENTY THOUSAND ONE HUNDRED <br /> FORTY-EIGHT DOLLARS ($1 , 970 , 148) , and this Amendment to <br /> Mortgage Deed is intended to increase the security for such <br /> Bond , <br /> THEREFORE to conform to the provisions of the said <br /> Reclamation Bond and the First and Second Amendment to <br /> Reclamation Bond, the Mortgage to Secure Reclamation Bond is <br /> hereby increased to ONE MILLION NINE HUNDRED SEVENTY THOUSAND <br /> ONE HUNDRED FORTY-LIGHT DOLLARS ( $1 , 970 , 148) and the Re- <br /> clamation Bond , as Amended , together with the mortgage <br /> securing the same, is hereby ratified and confirmed in all <br /> respects . <br /> The Mortgage to Secure Reclamation Bond hereby <br /> increased is identified as a certain Mortgage Deed from tilid- <br /> CuIltllleIlt Resources , Inc . , c1/b/a COAL AND COKE <br /> COMPANY securing Mined Land Reclamation Board, Department of <br /> Natural Resources , State of Colorado as stated therein, <br /> which document was recorded February 21 , 1980 as Document <br /> No. 301803 in Book 544 , Page 32 , Garfield County Clerk and <br />
